Active Nitrous was formed seven years ago as a division of Challis Autospares and is now one of the leading companies in the UK supplying nitrous systems & nitrous related products throughout the world. Each of our technicians has been through a comprehensive training regime to provide the best service available in the market place today.

All the staff here are car enthusiast and have experience in many forms of motor sport or the modifying scene. With staff cars ranging from a classic Tr4a on throttle bodies to a space framed, road legal (just!!) droop snoot Firenza to an Integra R on gas.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and one of our technicians will always be available to discuss your individual requirements and provide advice.

We have our own bespoke fitting bays within our workshop with excellent local facilities with go-carting a multi screen cinema and designer shopping centre only a few miso that you may relax while your car is having its system professionally installed. Active Nitrous has been selected by Max power, Total Vauxhall, Performance Ford and Revs magazines to provide technical information for editorial features.

Nitrous is a safe, reliable and economical method of increasing your cars horsepower provided it is jetted suitably and installed correctly. We can honestly say that none of our customers have experienced engine failure due to the equipment that we supply or have installed.

Unfortunately there has been an explosion in the amount of companies that have entered the market place and are now supplying nitrous products with very little knowledge of the products that they are selling with no technical backup. This is not the case when dealing with Active Nitrous systems.

Remember this when offered a cheap system, a car that has nitrous fitted incorrectly may never reach its full potential, and there is a real danger of engine damage occurring.

We supply a range of products that we feel are the best quality, best performing and the most reliable. Our on-site nitrous refill pumping station enables us to refill practically any bottle to a consistent level every time.

We are able fill most makes of bottle including Nos, NX, Zex, Cold Fusion, Edlebrock, Nytrex and Wizard of Nos. We unfortunately cannot offer this service mail order due to courier restrictions.
